Dallas became the county seat in 1851 and is named after George Mifflin Dallas, who was a former Vice-President of the United States. Local Charm & Historical Artifacts 

Garner Law Office, P.C., occupies a building on Main Street that is over 100 years old and was originally a pharmacy. During renovations in early 2022, medicine and other types of bottles were unearthed. If you look closely, many of the bottles are date stamped as far back as 1856. Those bottles are currently on display in the lobby of my law firm and are a constant reminder of the resilience this town stands for.
